Due to the current situation with Covid-19 all our Drs appointments are being done over the telephone.
Appointments are released on a daily basis at 8am for that day ONLY.
If the Dr wishes to see you they will invite you down to the surgery if it is safe to do so. Depending on your symptoms you may be asked to call from the car park to advise you are here.
We would also ask that if you have more than one problem to discuss with a Doctor you ask for a double appointment.
Please ask if you would like a chaperone during a consultation or examination
The surgery is closed once a month on a Thursday afternoon for staff training. For details regarding dates please go to our opening times section. For urgent problems during this time, please phone the surgery number as usual and your call will be taken by a group of nurses and doctors providing emergency cover.
If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.
A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
A telephone consultation with a doctor or nurse can be arranged after morning surgery.
Please phone before 10.30 am on the day you wish to speak to a doctor or nurse.
